Studycamp is our Best Study App of 2026 because it closes the gap most students actually live in: files in one tab, ChatGPT in another, Quizlet in a third, and a calendar that never sees any of it. You make a workspace per class, drop in your PDFs and slides, and every AI tool works from that material. Chat answers cite the passage they came from. Summaries stream as they are written. Quizzes mix multiple choice, true or false, and open questions, with an explanation after each one.
The part we liked most is the study chain. You go from a flashcard deck to a quiz to a practice exam, and when a quiz shows a weak spot, Studycamp builds a remedial deck for just those topics. Around that sits the Backpack: notes with Cornell templates, calendar, class schedule, to-do, kanban, grades, a whiteboard, dictionary, and Wolfram Alpha. Voice notes and video get transcribed into study files. Campfire lets you study in a room with friends.
The free plan is usable without a card: three workspaces, 1 GB, and 1,500 AI credits a month. Pro Student is $17.99 a month or $149 a year, and Exam Booster is a $39.99 pass for 60 days if you only need it for finals. It is still a young product next to Anki’s twenty-year scheduler. For a student who wants to study from their own course files this year, it is the most complete setup we ranked.

The product is built around a study session: your PDF stays open next to chat, flashcards, or a quiz, and the layout saves so you pick up where you stopped. Backpack tools open from the same screen, so you are not jumping tabs to check a deadline or look up a word. Students who bounce between five apps tend to settle here quickly. The interface is modern and opinionated. If you want a wall of scheduler numbers, Anki still goes deeper.
