Duolingo is the mass-market language course: short lessons, streaks, and an energy or hearts gate on free. Super Duolingo in the US is commonly $12.99 a month or about $83.99 to $95.99 a year. Family is about $119.99 a year for up to six. Max adds roleplay features at a much higher rate (about $30 a month / $168 a year in 2026 write-ups). Student deals sometimes appear in-app. Prices vary by account experiment; checked 21 September 2026.
A streak is not fluency. Use it beside actual speaking and your course textbook, not instead of them.
