The Zotero Connector is the browser half of Zotero. On a journal page, Google Scholar hit, or library catalogue it grabs the metadata and, when the publisher allows it, the PDF.
Chrome, Firefox, and Edge install from Zotero’s download page. Safari ships the connector inside the Zotero Mac app; you turn it on in Safari → Settings → Extensions. Free. The catch is the same as Zotero itself: the connector is only as useful as the library you keep.
